Tesla added a new underseat storage tray for 2025+ Model Y vehicles, priced at US$40 or C$55, giving owners a concealed non-slip bin under the front passenger seat. The accessory sold out shortly after launch in both Canada and the U.S.
Model Y Premium V2L support depends on PCS2 hardware
Drive Tesla explains that U.S. Model Y Premium owners can check V2L compatibility by looking up their VIN in Tesla’s Parts Catalog and confirming PCS2 hardware. A PCS1-to-PCS2 Lite retrofit exists in Tesla’s service docs, but it is a 344-step draft procedure and is not currently offered as a customer V2L upgrade.

First known unofficial HW4 retrofit completed on a 2022 Model 3
Mike Gapiński completed the first known unofficial HW3-to-HW4 retrofit on a 2022 Model 3, replacing the self-driving computer and using ECU tweaks plus camera adapters, showing older wiring can work even though an official upgrade is not imminent.

Certified Pre-Owned program launches in the U.S. and Puerto Rico
Tesla introduced a Certified Pre-Owned program in the U.S. and Puerto Rico with 115-plus inspection points, one free month of FSD Supervised and Premium Connectivity, a one-year or 10,000-mile pre-owned warranty, vehicle history reports, and remaining battery and drive-unit coverage. This is very similar to the program Tesla had a few years ago, and it was great!
