Elon teases major FSD leap coming in 6 weeks
Elon says a huge FSD update is coming in about 6 weeks, with a tenfold increase in neural network parameters and a bunch of improvements. If real-world testing hits their safety targets, Tesla plans to cut back on those annoying takeover nags. I am really hoping this lives up to the promise because FSD is already making driving so much easier.

Tesla is ramping up its Robotaxi fleet in the Bay Area, aiming to have over 100 cars available as it prepares to open its 'supervised ride-hailing service' to the public. While still in beta and only accessible to iPhone users right now, the plan is to let anyone in the area request a ride soon, signaling a big move beyond just invite-only testing.

Tesla launches Model 3 with 830km range in China, deliveries begin September
Tesla just unveiled a Model 3 Long Range RWD in China with a jaw-dropping 830km of range on the CLTC cycle, the highest yet for a Tesla sold there. It packs a beefy 78.4kWh LG battery and will be hitting roads by September, coming in quite a bit higher than the base price but delivering big on distance for those long-haul drivers.

Looks like the Model 3 is getting a front-facing camera, finally catching up with other Tesla models. This news popped up through a Chinese regulatory website and some eagle-eyed folks spotted the camera on recent car images.
Cybertruck & Semi

Tesla launches off-road armor and rock sliders for Cybertruck 📷
Tesla has just dropped its beefy Terrestrial Armor Package for the Cybertruck, finally letting owners armor up for real off-roading. This $3,500 kit adds serious underbody and rocker panel protection with thick aluminum and rugged steel components, perfect for anyone taking their Cybertruck into rough terrain.
Software Updates
Tesla adds smart lock alert to update 2025.26 📷
Tesla just rolled out a clever new Smart Lock Alert in update 2025.26 to help avoid those awkward moments when you think your car is locked but a passenger’s phone key is still inside. The car now gives you visual and audible alerts, like flashing hazard lights and a glowing animation on the display, if the doors can still be opened due to a phone key nearby. There’s also an easy option to fully lock the doors right from the touchscreen, and the best part is this works even on older Teslas, not just the latest models.

What is Tesla doing to support the older vehicles? Seems like the 2015-2019 crops has been left behind.
Is there any chance they will update FSD on those models?
