Tesla Diner
Elon teases global expansion of the Tesla diner concept
Elon Musk just shared that if Tesla’s retro-futuristic diner in LA proves successful, we could see more popping up in major cities worldwide and at key Supercharger stops. We got to see the Tesla diner a couple of weeks ahead of its opening, and I’m really excited about it and the expansion plans.

Ordering food from the Tesla Diner through the car’s touchscreen looks effortless. The system already recognizes your account details, making checkout fast and easy. Huge kudos to Tesla’s software and charging teams for nailing a smooth experience.
FSD
Tesla nearing FSD release in Australia after final validation stage
FSD is getting really close to launching in Australia, with Tesla's local director confirming that all regulatory hurdles are cleared and the team is now just finishing the last phase of validation. Recent successful demos in Melbourne and Sydney show FSD smoothly handling both everyday city traffic and even tricky hook turns. Australia will see FSD launch first on HW4 vehicles, with a phased rollout to other models down the line.
Software Updates
Tesla update 2025.26 rollout begins, Grok demos and version info, more 📹
Tesla has begun rolling out software update 2025.26 to a small group of early access owners, introducing Grok AI as a beta feature in vehicles for the first time. Early demos show Grok can answer questions and provide relevant info but cannot control any car functions or navigation yet. Owners have confirmed the in-car Grok version is the latest Grok 4, and initial hands-on reactions praise the smooth UI and context-aware responses.
Tesla rolls out update to robotaxi service that makes pickups so much better
Tesla’s Robotaxi fleet in Austin just got smarter with a software update that enables driverless vehicles to pick up riders at their precise phone location rather than a fixed app point. A small change, but important for the accuracy of the service.
Incentives
Tesla's current offer page
Some great deals are up for grabs on Tesla's current offers page, including free upgrades on select Model 3, Y, and S/X inventory, federal tax credits, and lower lease or finance rates. Model 3 now has the option of 0 percent APR for five years if you buy FSD, plus 18 months of free Supercharging if you pay cash, while the Cybertruck features a $7,500 tax credit and free wheel upgrades on some leases. If you are thinking of getting a new Tesla, definitely check these out!

Tesla extends FSD transfer program to Europe and Middle East
Tesla owners in Europe and the Middle East can now transfer their existing Full Self-Driving (FSD) capability to a new Tesla for free, matching a perk that has previously only been available in North America. This move is a nice win for longtime European supporters, especially since FSD has faced slow regulatory approval in those regions.
Model Y
Tesla to launch Model Y L with extended wheelbase and six seats in autumn in China
Tesla is set to introduce the Model Y L in China this autumn, offering a stretched wheelbase, three rows, and seating for six. The new variant is AWD with a dual-motor setup making 456 horsepower, and it uses LG-supplied NMC batteries. With sales of the Model Y down so far in 2025, this could give Tesla a much-needed boost in the competitive Chinese SUV market as it takes on big family-friendly EVs from local rivals.
🤓 What the acronym
As a Tesla fan, I find myself sometimes having to remember what are all those acronyms, here is a list of the ones you can find in this issue.
