Model S & X
Model S/X refresh launched last week
Tesla just rolled out refreshed Model S and X in the US, bringing a bunch of improvements. Expect a new Frost Blue color, up to 410 miles of range in the Model S Long Range, a quieter cabin, fresh wheel designs, and improved aerodynamics. The update also adds a front camera, dynamic ambient lighting, adaptive driving beams, and extra space in the Model X's third row, perfect for families like mine. Tesla. it isn't cool to release new products the same day of the newsletter!
Tesla slashes Model S and Model X inventory prices after refresh
Tesla is offering major discounts on remaining pre-refresh Model S and Model X units in the US, with price cuts up to $6,800 for new cars and nearly $12,000 on demo vehicles. These deals could be perfect for anyone wanting luxury Tesla range and performance but not fussed about having the latest cosmetic or tech tweaks, especially with immediate availability. The refreshed models are already live, so inventory at these lower prices is likely to go fast.

Tesla uses new gigacast sectioning to repair JerryRigEverything's Cybertruck
After JerryRigEverything's intense test bent his Cybertruck, Tesla repaired it using a cool new gigacast sectioning technique, replacing only the damaged part of the large rear casting instead of the whole thing. This not only cut down on repair time and cost but also showed how Tesla designed the Cybertruck for easier fixes and better service transparency.
Robotaxi
Tesla Robotaxi service launches June 22, first driverless delivery set for June 28
Big news: Tesla's robotaxi service will begin limited public rides in Austin on June 22 using a small fleet of driverless Model Ys. Musk also teased an industry first, on June 28, the company will deliver a Model Y that drives itself from the Texas factory right to a customer, showing off some serious autonomy milestones. The new FSD version running these cars isn't on customer vehicles yet, but it's in advanced testing and is expected to roll out to owners a bit later this year.

Model Y
Tesla’s six-seat Model Y confirmed in software, may feature captain's chairs
Looks like Tesla fans with bigger families have something to look forward to: the Model Y is getting a confirmed six-seat option! This version features a 2-2-2 layout with comfy captain’s chairs in the middle and a center aisle, making access to the third row much easier. Rumors point to a possible longer wheelbase for extra comfort, and both six and seven-seat versions seem headed for a global release, giving folks more choice between utility and luxury. The official unveiling should be soon, so if you have been waiting for a more spacious Model Y, keep an eye out.

Elon shares Tesla FSD roadmap: What's in the next FSD update
Elon just shared more details about the future of Tesla’s FSD. The first major update, coming soon, will merge the advanced robotaxi version into customer cars, while a completely rebuilt version with a whopping 4.5 times more parameters is in early testing and is targeted for a big release later this year. The extra size means better human-like driving and decision-making, plus fewer weird FSD moments—though as always with Elon Timelines, we will see how the rollout goes. The long-term vision remains to license FSD as competitors struggle to catch up, so buckle up for some serious progress over the next year.
Tesla's Grok integration will be more realistic with this cool feature
Tesla is getting ready to roll out Grok, its AI assistant, to its vehicles—and firmware reveals it will have customizable personalities, making in-car interactions more natural and tailored to each driver. Early access will only reach AMD-based cars, so if you have an older Intel-powered model, you may need to wait.

🤓 What the acronym
As a Tesla fan, I find myself sometimes having to remember what are all those acronyms, here is a list of the ones you can find in this issue.
AI: Artificial Intelligence
FSD: Full Self-Driving
promises, promises, promises, promises....why bother reporting them?? As to the notion of an FSD "Roadmap", you should probably start listing ALL the dates: Promise / Change Promise. After following Tesla closely for a couple years, I paid the extra $10,000 for FSD on my 2021YP because Elonia said "...out of Beta by the end of the year..." Of course, not even close. So he changed "beta" to "supervised." Ugh. What a con.
Now he is promising to upgrade my HW3, but that ain't on his map. Just another promise.
It will be damn near impossible for me to ever buy another Tesla.
